What kinds of clean-up and object removal do you offer?
Clean-up can address rigs, crew, unwanted logos, boom shadows and other distractions in a shot. Send the shots with a clear note of what needs changing; the footage determines the work involved.
How do compositing and rotoscoping work together?
Compositing combines image elements into a finished shot, such as a screen replacement, sky swap or set extension. Rotoscoping isolates a subject or part of the frame so it can be treated separately in the composite or grade.
Do you work with VFX projects outside Johannesburg?
Yes. Dusty Blue works with productions across South Africa and worldwide, with remote review and notes on Frame.io and final files delivered through secure cloud storage.
What do you need to quote a VFX project?
Send the shots or cut, the requested changes, any visual references and the deadline. Explain the intended delivery formats and whether colour grading or online finishing is part of the brief.
