What is the difference between colour correction and colour grading?
Colour correction balances exposure, colour and continuity between shots. Colour grading develops the creative look: the mood, contrast and palette that serve the story. Both form part of bringing a cut together for its final grade.
Can we review a grade from elsewhere in South Africa?
Yes. The studio is based in Johannesburg and works with productions across South Africa and worldwide. Frame.io supports review and notes within a colour-managed workflow, so you can collaborate without travelling to the studio.
Can colour grading, VFX and finishing be handled together?
